JoAnn Sale

I received a 40% off coupon:happydance: from JoAnn fabrics by email, so of course I *had* to go check it out. Although I did not purchase any yarn, my purchase was definitely :knitting: related. Three sets of purse handles (for felted bags, of course) and a beautiful brocade fabric I intend to use as the lining of said bags. Even the back of the fabric is pretty!

Fiber Trends Clogs

:jump:Here they are. I never did get around to trying to wash them again. Maybe today. Anyway, DH says they are totally wearable so I guess I won’t worry too much.

I never believed there could be a limit to how much wool could shrink…my DH accidentally washed one of my wool sweaters before:doh: and when it came out it was between barbie doll and newborn size! Needless to say, it shrunk a lot!

Soon?

If I wasn’t already frustrated with not being able to play, I sure am now. Yesterday was a beautiful (if hot) day…perfect for golf. And what did I get to do? Sit on a hole (charity tournament) with some girls from the high school golf team and watch them hit shots for a couple of hours:cry:. It made me want to play soooooooo badly. Since I had physical therapy right after that, I went ahead and did a bunch of practice swings (we had done this in my therapy last week, so I knew it was ok) knowing that I would have to do them there anyway. Then with all that swinging, I couldn’t resist hitting one shot. Nothing full out, just a half swing with way too much club and of course, hit the green, which made it even more painful that I can’t play. Overall, the shoulder is feeling pretty good, but I have to admit it was more sore than usual yesterday after doing all my PT and swings. It can’t be too much longer now before I can play…considering how easy the recovery has been. PT again tomorrow, maybe I’ll get cleared to hit a few shots over the weekend.

:wall:Day 2 of felting the Fiber Trends clogs! I think I am on about the 12th washing, but I have lost count. I *think* they are continuing to get smaller, but it’s really difficut to tell. I think I’ll try putting them in the dryer for a while to see if that helps.

Tube Top and Shrug

Filatura Di Crosa, Fall/Winter 2004 Collection, #17. Picture HERE.

I’m either going to use the cream colored Debbie Bliss Chunky Cashmerino that I bought on sale at Fiberge, or the light blue yarn I bought in Italy.

oh no!

 Jim got  while in Kent and can’t come home today  The only benefit is maybe I can finish the clogs now before he comes home.

Bodhi and Loki

I guess the pups aren’t use to staying up late! They have beeen “passed out” all day. It’s kind of nice for a change. They are usually running around getting into trouble this time of day.
