It may be time to stop blogging when…
It may be time to stop blogging when you begin to have dreams of fellow bloggers. I’m thinking this could mean way to much time spent thinking about, writing in an reading knit blogs. Or it could just be the narcotic pain meds. At any rate, I had a dream about two of my fellow bloggers. I think they’re particularly fresh in my mind since I have been WAY behind (more like not reading at all) on blog reading until this recent forced bed rest. Oh and just in case you were wondering, Lazy UPSman did show up and I have the PC complete with Vista. I am so allowed…I NEED it for business. :flower:
So I come up to Laurie’s front door in small town, CA, where I notice the next door neighbor sitting on the front porch with her bird. Strange, I didn’t think Korean ladies usually had red hair but apparently Percocet begs to differ. Also, the percocet forgot the non-death fruit. I ring the front doorbell and Laurie greets me in the most gracious southern manner. We walk in the front door and the Percocet is also aware of her recent uncluttering of the house. It’s not really cluttered but lots of yarn everywhere. I say something about wine and Laurie says “oh, I’m not doing that anymore”. WTF??? Then we talk about getting something to eat…no in and out burgers but instead hanging out on her cute little back patio, sans wine and cooking in. I go to look in the fridge so I can help and all that is there is broccoli. Mounds of broccoli (um, I like broccoli, but not as a continuous diet). Then she shows me to her guest room upstairs (I’m not even sure she has an upstairs) and explains how it’s much cooler now that the A/C is fixed. Some how there is no sleep or eating and I am suddenly in the back of a pickup truck talking to Laurie and her boyfriend through the little back window. Then we stop in a park where I step into “quick mud” (like quicksand except it’s mud) and all I could think was to quickly hand Laurie my new digital camera so we could get some pics of me drowning in the quickmud for the blog. Boyfriend and a horse (where did that come from) pull me out. Then La comes running into the picture and says, “you were supposed to visit me first!” And somehow, La was actually Jen and La all fused together into one person…as I spoke to her I had the sense that they were both there. She whisked me off in her car before I could get my camera back (I was really worried about having something to put on the blog when I got home since I ALWAYS forget to take pictures) and said something like don’t worry, we’ll knit a new one??? And as we were in route to the nearest yarn store I woke up.
Seriously, y’all. I think I need help!
