I am way overdue to post will do it very soon!  Until then, two things.  Thing one:  You MUST go watch this video…Gangsta’ Knitter.  Thing two:  I almost hopped on this yesterday and then realized I know absolutely nothing about drum carders.  What is there to really know though?  The handle turns and it has all its teeth.  Is it a good deal at $82?

The video is hilarious! heh And the drum carder…. hmm. I have no experience with them either but I know enough to know that it’s a BARGAIN if it works. Take some fiber and try it out! From what I’ve seen about “how to use a drum carder” on the internet, it will all stay on the larger drum until you take it off with a wire or something that you slide between a row of teeth and lift it off and it’ll come off all in once piece.

I don’t know much about drum carders either — but for that price, if it appeared to work (i.e. turned when I cranked it) I would definitely go for it.

Go Home! Must Order Dyeing Yarn!!!!!!

Yeah, I don’t know jack about drum (originally spelled that drumB) carders. Maybe Jen can help if she ever gets to her computer again.

I’m off to watch the video and I know nothing of that thing, all I know is that yarn comes from the yarn shop and I want to know no more!

I don’t know a thing about drum carders. [Damn you, La, now *I* spelled it drumB] Pixie wants me to buy hers, but I kind of think I’d rather have my stuff milled so I haven’t dipped so much as a toe into the waters of manual rotary fiber alignment. However, I know what they run and if I found one for that price, I’d probably buy it. :bouncingsheep: Some chicks have ALL the luck!
