mysterystolerow73The Harlot made me do it.  After I read her post about the Mystery Stole, I immediately signed up (I got sucked into the FPS in a similar fashion by La and Debi…apparently the mere suggestion of knitting something by bloggers I admire causes me to cast on despite being in the middle of working on a submission).  I too had read about MS3 on many blogs and had put it out of my mind successfully several times.  For whatever reason once I read her post and saw the picture…well, resistance was futile (in case you have been under a rock and don’t know about MS3, sign ups are unfortunately, closed…the designer will be offering the pattern for sale in the very near future).  At least I had both the yarn and beads in stash.  In my typical fashion with something like this (ie fit is not critical), I just jumped right in.  We don’t need no stinking swatches!beadclose

Yarn:  Kaalund Yarns, “Expressions” Color: “Wombat”  Needles:  Addi Turbo US2 (a little smaller than called for but I am a loose knitter, remember?)

On a totally different subject…it took me some time, but I figured out how to get the running posts out of my normal feel and off of the front page so you won’t be bothered by them!  If for some bizarre reason you have an interest in checking out my running stuff the feed is:  http://www.divaknitting.com/blog/?feed=rss2&cat=12

Thanks for telling me, I think I’m the only knitter in the northern hemisphere that hasn’t signed up yet. No need for will power now
