While I was waiting on the dark navy yarn for Jim’s Bauhaus, I kept busy with Vivian and Babette squares.  The squares are super easy now that I have the pattern memorized. I only have to look at the instructions to see what color and/or square comes next.  I’ve decided to work the squares in the sections as they occur and sew each section together as I go along.  Considering it took me a whole night while watching television just to weave in the ends this seems prudent.  If I left all the finishing for the end I just might kill myself.  Section one down, nine more sections and umpteen million squares to go.

Reinforcements for the Bauhaus arrive on Monday (thanks you WJ) so I’m cranking out that again, at least until we leave for Arizona Friday morning.  It is way too big and bulky for travel so it will have to wait until I get back to finish it.  *Big sigh* just in time for warm weather.  At least it will be ready for the fall and I can take my sweet time…say, all summer, weaving in the hundreds of ends.

My trip project will be Vivian and probably some socks (shocker).  Stay out of my stash while I’m gone!
